Stephan Leithner | Chairman
As a Member of the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse Group, Stephan Leithner is responsible for the Group’s post-trading, data and index business. Stephan has also served as a Partner of the leading alternative investments firm EQT since 2016. Previously, he acted as a Member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG from 2012 until 2015, where he held a number of leadership positions in Global Banking since 2000. Earlier he held positions at McKinsey & Company and the Swiss Institute for Banking and Finance in St. Gallen, Switzerland. He holds a PhD in Finance and a master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Gallen.

Sebastian Ceria | Chief Executive Officer
Sebastian Ceria is Chief Executive Officer of Qontigo. He previously served as the CEO of Axioma, which he founded and led since 1998. Before that, Sebastian was an Associate Professor of Decision, Risk and Operations at Columbia Business School. He has worked extensively in robust optimization and its application to portfolio management, authoring many articles in industry and academic publications. He is a recipient of the Career Award for Operations Research from the National Science Foundation. Sebastian holds a PhD in Operations Research from Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business, and a degree in Applied Math from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Christoph Böhm | Member
Christoph Böhm was appointed to the Executive Board of Deutsche Börse AG in November 2018. In his role as Chief Information Officer (CIO), he focuses on the introduction of new technologies. He is also responsible for operations at Deutsche Börse Group, as Chief Operating Officer (COO). Earlier, Christoph served as a Senior Vice President for Global Cloud Services at SAP AG. Before that, he led Information Technology in Central Europe as a CIO at Vodafone from 2010 to 2015. Christoph is member of the supervisory boards at Clearstream Beteiligungs AG and Clearstream Holding AG (group mandates).

Gabriel Caillaux | Member
Gabriel Caillaux is a Managing Director and Head of General Atlantic’s business in EMEA. He is also a member of the firm’s Management and Investment Committees. Since joining the firm in 2004, Gabriel has helped expand the firm’s investment focus across the greater European region to include Eastern Europe and the Middle East. He focuses on investments in the Financial Services and Technology sectors. Before joining General Atlantic, Gabriel worked in the telecoms, media & technology division at Merrill Lynch in London and New York.

William Guttman | Member
Bill Guttman was Chairman of Axioma from 2001 until its combination into Qontigo, and has held leadership roles in dozens of other venture and PE-backed companies. As a general partner of three early-stage venture capital firms, Bill has also been the lead investor in an array of notable technology startups. Before entering the private sector, he worked at the U.S. Agency for International Development, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, and the OECD. He earned his master's and doctoral degrees in international relations at Balliol College, Oxford University.

Christoph Hansmeyer | Member
Christoph Hansmeyer is Head of Group Strategy and M&A, as well as Chief of Staff at Deutsche Börse AG. He was previously with Allianz SE, based in Munich, Germany until 2018, where he held positions in Group Merger & Acquisitions and in the company’s Group Strategy & Portfolio Management team. Before that, he spent 12 years at Goldman Sachs, working in the Investment Banking Division of the Financial Institutions Group with responsibilities for Frankfurt, New York and London. He earned his master’s degree in Business Administration at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management in Koblenz, Germany in 1999.

Marco Steeg | Member
Marco Steeg has held senior finance positions at Deutsche Börse since March 2003. He served as Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer and Member of Management Board at Scoach/Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate AG from 2009 until 2012. At the end of 2012, he was named Head of Financial Accounting and Controlling at Deutsche Börse AG and became a Managing Director. Starting in September 2018, he served as Head of External Findings Management and, in parallel, became a Member of the Board of Directors at Stoxx Ltd. Prior to joining Deutsche Börse, Marco was head of business administration at a Lufthansa subsidiary. He studied Business Administration and Industrial Engineering and holds a master’s degree from University of Karlsruhe.

Aaron Goldman | Observer
Aaron Goldman is a Managing Director and Global Co-Head of Financial Services at General Atlantic. Aaron leads or is closely involved with GA's investments in Ant Financial, Adyen, BillDesk, Clip, Greensill and sits on the Board of Directors of Network International, plc. Aaron was also involved in GA investments in Affinion, Amherst Pierpont, First Republic Bank, Klarna, Markit, Mu Sigma, Net1, Sura Asset Management and Tory Burch. Aaron graduated magna cum laude from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and earned an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School where he was a Baker Scholar.
